Associate

Julian Oggier joined Herzog & de Meuron in 2017 and became Associate in 2019. He started out in territorial, urban and infrastructural planning. He has been managing the Bahnknoten Basel project and also contributed to the Basel Nordspitze competition. As a Project Manager he was responsible for various large-scale transformation projects, and also for the winning competition for Forum UZH.


Julian holds a Master’s degree in Architecture from ETH Zurich. After graduating under Prof. Tom Emerson in 2015, he stayed on at ETH as an assistant and curator at the chair for the Theory of Architecture of Prof. Dr. Ákos Moravánszky, and as a research and teaching assistant at ETH Studio Basel. He gained first experiences as an architect at several architecture studios in Switzerland and abroad, including Buchner Bründler and Sergison Bates architects.
