Roche Bau 12 Breaks Ground

BASEL, SWITZERLAND — This Wednesday, we celebrated the cornerstone ceremony for Roche Bau 12. The new research and development building Bau 12 is a key element for Roche’s strategic development plan in Basel. The new building consolidates previously dispersed units in one location. With a highly flexible pilot plant and additional lab floors, Bau 12 is designed for the early stages of drug development and serves as a key interface between research and production. Following the demolition of the existing building earlier this year and the preparation of the excavation pit, the site is now ready for construction.
