On-Site at Hauptpost Basel

BASEL, SWITZERLAND – On-site at the Hauptpost Basel, where the restoration and modernization of the historic building continues. This work includes construction on the rooftop: an incongruous 1950s extension on the upper level of the Hauptpost was removed and replaced with a new timber structure. Its pitched roof responds carefully to the form and materiality of the surrounding roofscape while creating a terrace with views across Basel’s Old Town.
