Top Honors for the Kinderspital Zürich: Dezeen’s Architecture Project of the Year and Hochparterre’s Best in Switzerland

ZÜRICH, SWITZERLAND — The Kinderspital Zürich was recently named Architecture Project of the Year at the Dezeen Awards. It also received Hochparterre’s Golden Rabbit, awarded to the best architectural project in Switzerland as part of ‘Die Besten 2025’.

The Dezeen jury wrote: “This is a project that should be celebrated, and celebrated widely. It is an exemplary building in a sector where exemplary buildings are rare, yet needed more than almost any other. This is what quality architecture should strive for.”

From Hochparterre: “From the typology to the materialisation—rich in wood and construction details—it is not childish, but designed to be child-appropriate, creating a dignified place for a public and relevant building brief that is all too often understood in a technocratic way. Healing architecture at its finest.”
