Outside of Switzerland, Herzog & de Meuron has built its largest body of work in the United States. We recognized the potential that the US held at an early stage in 1998, with the Dominus Winery in Napa Valley. In order to stay in close contact with our clients and projects in the US, we have established studios in New York, San Francisco and, most recently, in Austin, Texas.
The Austin office is located in the heart of the Clarksville neighborhood adjacent to H&dM’s Sixth&Blanco project. The team guides projects in Austin, Bentonville, San Antonio and the broader southwest region in all stages of design.
Our studio in Austin ensures strategic partnerships with planners, close contact with our clients, onsite presence throughout the development and execution of projects, and reflects our long-term commitment to the region. Our Austin team embodies Herzog & de Meuron’s culture, work ethic, and professionalism. They are well-versed in US planning regulations and construction methodologies and are involved from initial contact with all stakeholders to the handover of a finished project.
