Herzog & de Meuron

Ryan Cole joined Herzog & de Meuron in 2013 as an Architect, following a successful collaboration from 2008 to 2013 as part of the architect of record team on the Pérez Art Museum Miami. Ryan became a Senior Architect in 2015 and Associate Studio Director in 2021. He is a Project Manager and co-leader of the office in San Francisco, California. Following his move to Miami, Ryan completed Jade Signature, a 58-story residential tower, along with an extension to the 1111 Lincoln Road project. Ryan is currently responsible for a diverse range of projects including three projects in California – Berggruen Institute in Los Angeles; and San Francisco-based Power Station and UCSF Hellen Diller Medical Center.

Ryan has nearly 20 years of experience and is a Registered Architect in the United States. He studied architecture from 1998 to 2003 at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville during which he studied abroad at the Krakow University in Poland. He has previously collaborated with Garrison Architects and Handel Architects, both in New York, NY.
