Herzog & de Meuron

Lukasz Szlachcic began his collaboration with Herzog & de Meuron in 2012, initially working on several competitions and concept studies, including the winning competitions for New North Zealand Hospital and UCSF Helen Diller Medical Center. Lukasz was the Project Architect for the National Library of Israel in Jerusalem from 2013 to 2020, developing the project from concept to construction documentation, primarily responsible for project coordination and planning. Currently he is Project Manager for a diverse range of North American projects including the Vancouver Art Gallery, the Belltown mixed-use development in Seattle, and the Sixth and Blanco development in Austin.

Lukasz holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Cornell University and a Master of Architecture and Urbanism from the Architectural Association in London. Additionally, he has studied philosophy and modern history at the University of Oxford. He has previously collaborated with OMA in Rotterdam and Hong Kong.
