Louis I. Kahn Award

PHILADELPHIA, UNITED STATES – Herzog & de Meuron have been awarded the 2023 Louis I. Kahn Award. The Louis I. Kahn award is given annually by the Center for Architecture and Design in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to honor individuals who have made significant contributions to the field of architecture. Jacques will receive the award on behalf of Herzog & de Meuron at an event in Philadelphia on May 31st. The event will include a lecture, proceeds from which will be used to provide free design education to children in Philadelphia. The award highlights H&dM’s long history of work in the United States and the strong connection to Philadelphia where our ongoing project for Calder Gardens will soon start construction.
