Herzog & de Meuron

TORONTO, CANADA, 3 June 2020 – Herzog & de Meuron and Canadian architects Quadrangle have been appointed by Kroonenberg Groep and ProWinko to design a mixed-use building at the northwest corner of Bay Street and Bloor Street in Toronto.

This marks Herzog & de Meuron’s first project in Toronto, located at a prominent intersection of the city, part of a vibrant shopping area and at the centre of a new cluster of high-rise developments.

Herzog & de Meuron: “The tower defines the northern edge of the downtown area and provides a landmark in the urban grid. It is a very direct response to the site and the city around it.”
