BERLIN, GERMANY – In January 2023, new funding was granted for sustainability measures at the Museum der Moderne – berlin modern. The use of that funding was presented to the public during a press conversation this morning at the Neue Nationalgalerie.

“Our competition entry was already designed as a ‘House for All’, with a large gable roof built around a heritage plane tree. Nature surrounds and permeates the building through new plantings on all sides, which will gradually fulfill our initially expressed vision of the Tiergarten Park expanding into the Kulturforum. The building will thus be a draw for the people of Berlin – because it is meant for them. For everyone, not for a select few.”
