445 Roche Building 2 Construction Starts

BASEL, SWITZERLAND, 11 June 2018 – The foundation stone for Roche Building 2 was laid today on the Roche Basel Site. The 205m tall Building 2 will complement Building 1, which opened in 2015. As an ensemble, the two high-rises will shape the cityscape. Building 2 will be home for up to 3’100 employees: The continued development of the Roche grounds follows the plan drawn up by Roche in 2006 in order to introduce structural clarity by locating research and development in the northern sector, and global headquarters functions in the southern sector. The building will be opened in 2022.

ROCHE
