Simon Demeuse began his collaboration with Herzog & de Meuron in 2005. In 2006, he moved to San Francisco to oversee the detailing and construction of the Kramlich Residence and Media Collection. He returned to the Basel office in 2008 to lead the design and construction for a private residence in California.

 

In 2011 Simon became Associate, and since then he has served as project manager and director on projects in the UK, Turkey, Switzerland and North America. Currently he leads the project for the new Vancouver Art Gallery and the Berggruen Institute in Los Angeles.


Simon holds an M.Arch II degree from the Harvard Graduate School of Design and a B.Arch degree from the Southern California Institute of Architecture. Between academic work, he collaborated with Morphosis Architects in Los Angeles and OMA in Rotterdam.
