Olga Bolshanina joined Herzog & de Meuron for an internship in 2004, returning in 2007 after receiving her Master degree. From 2009-2011 she led the design of the Barranca Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Guadalajara, Mexico. In 2011 she became responsible for the Skolkovo District Master Plan, overseeing all aspects of the design. In parallel to developing numerous international projects in Europe, China, Mexico and Russia, she has managed a wide range of competitions. In 2012 she became an Associate of the firm.

Born in 1982 in Siberia, Olga began her studies at the Tomsk School of Architecture and Engineering, then went on to complete her Bachelor and Master of Architecture degrees from the École Polytechnique Fédérale in Lausanne.
