Donald Mak is an Associate at Herzog & de Meuron since 2009. He started his collaboration with the National Stadium in Beijing, and contributed to 56 Leonard in New York, the extension to the Musee Unterlinden in Colmar, France, and the M+ in Hong Kong.

Over the years Donald has become increasingly involved in the many communication objectives developed by the office. This activity includes the conception and production of Herzog & de Meuron specific monographs, project publications and exhibition contributions. Recent projects include the catalogue for the Serpentine Gallery Pavilion 2012 , the forthcoming monograph on Transforming Park Avenue Armory, and the installation for the 2012 Architecture Biennale in Venice (La Biennale di Venezia. 13. Mostra Internazionale di Architettura).

Donald graduated in 2000 from the University of Toronto. He has previously collaborated with Bruce Mau Design in Toronto, Mike Smith Studio in London, and worked on a range of publications independently.
